Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Höegh Autoliners has a staff of 1350 and operates approximately 40 car carriers transporting around 1.5 million car equivalent units (CEUs) each year. Customers include global manufacturers of new cars, heavy machinery and rolling goods managed from a worldwide network of 33 offices. Höegh Autoliners has chosen to expand its transport and logistic services on the African continent since 2010 by phasing in additional services in West Africa and southern Africa. According to Eric Melet, Managing Director Sales & Operations of Bolloré Africa Logistics, “this global agreement is expanding the link we have already forged with Höegh Autoliners in some of the West African countries and we are glad that such a well known and reputable Liner operator has chosen to appoint our network for the next stage of its development in Africa”.
