Togo

Togo is a country in West Africa bordering Ghana to the west, Benin to the east and Burkina Faso to the north.

Togo depends heavily on both commercial and subsistence agriculture, which provides employment for 65% of the labor force. Cocoa, coffee, and cotton generate about 40% of export earnings. Togo is the world's fourth-largest producer of phosphate. The government is supported by the World Bank and the IMF since 2007 to implement economic reform measures, and encourage foreign investment. Togo reached a HIPC debt relief completion point in 2010 at which 95% of the country's debt was forgiven. A resumption is noticed thanks to the increase of the agricultural production, supported by the State, and the relaunching of the sector cotton. For 2011, Togo banks on a 3,6 % growth.

Bolloré Africa Logistics is now the Togo Terminal port operator.
